IBM System/36 5363 - Is it worth my time and money getting it to boot?

Hi all!
I'm the (lucky?) owner of a 5363 that came in bad physical condition, but with darn good electronics. I couldn't see a single thing that was wrong in electronics and even if i have not tested it yet i'm confident it'll work like a charm (i'm gonna make a 3-D painting with it if it doesn't).
The problem is: the chassis needs sanding and the case needs to be repainted, plus it's missing the front panel bezel, so i don't know what button means what.
What should I do? Do you think it's worth my money or i'd better put in a good mobo and create a mockup, arduino controlled front panel?

you can find the manual on bitsavers. That should at least help you determine if the system is functional.

so you can figure out the buttons. No idea on value. especially in Italy as I suspect it has an Italian SSP...
