Inboard 386/PC 2mb expansion CLONE

hello
Just remember one case. Where I pimped 486BL and then warm rebooted. The inboard driver complanied about bad RAM, but in that case , it was too fast "pimping" of CPU (enabled CPU-cache prior to load of Inboard driver), then testing RAM and failing...

Thanks for sharing,
Can you let me know what do you mean by ‘Pimping’? I am willing to try anything that might work

In my case the inboard program seems to detect the RAM, and runs through the diagnosis, but the retrieves all the RAM as Bad,… I find rather odd that all 8 memory modules are Bad. Maybe is the type/brand of memory that I using?.

Any memory modules type/brand recommendations have worked for anyone else?

It's a bit unique in that it just uses a sense line to detect what piggyback module is installed (2/4 mb). The jumper tells it how much ram to expect then it tests the actual memory that it is told it has.

….solved.
Thanks to Harrison for his help and guidance. Problem was poor soldering in a couple of places. Fixed and Memory is now detected

There are LOTS of them. You don't need 8 bit ones. There is a thread here: https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/8bit-friendly-isa-vga-cards.26866/

Honestly if you have a 16 bit, just try it - you may be surprised.
This. I use an ATI Graphics Ultra in my XT
