My account is newly minted, so I can't send DMs yet, any chance you could send me one to arrange a sale? Thanks for your work on this awesome project!@dparks256 Yes send me a DM! I don't have any official site.
Woo! Nice! Oddly I was not able to get doom to launch, so I'm not sure about the keyboard situation.Another complete ParrotyError expansion board! Thanks @harrison.frazier for all of your help on Reddit. I went ahead and installed and tried to run DOOM. Has anyone had any luck getting the keyboard working with DOOM?

Full System Specs:
original 16Mhz i386 with added 387
5MB total system memory
ATI VGA Wonder-16 with 256K VRAM
MF-100A serving as a serial port
Original IBM floppy disk controller (waiting for a TexElec QuadFlop)
XT-IDE with 64MB CF card
CTX VGA MultiSync monitor
Has anyone tried pairing the inboard with the 5161 expansion cards? I'm thinking about trying to build a diy expansion chassis so that I can get a few more expansion cards since I'm fully maxed out.
I've been looking at it a little bit more and it seems like my Jonas got a doom tech demo running in another thread and I've asked there. Next up, seeing if I can get Win95 to work or at least MS-DOS 7.1 (for the FAT32 support).Woo! Nice! Oddly I was not able to get doom to launch, so I'm not sure about the keyboard situation.
Yeah I don't know enough about how all the virtual device drivers (and whatnot) work but it would definitely be a feat to get Win95 running! Dos 7.1 would be more attainable I would think.I've been looking at it a little bit more and it seems like my Jonas got a doom tech demo running in another thread and I've asked there. Does the Cyrix 486 upgrade include a replacement BIOS? Even much slower turbo chips broke the floppy routines in the IBM BIOS.Yeah I don't know enough about how all the virtual device drivers (and whatnot) work but it would definitely be a feat to get Win95 running! I have my stock IBM floppy controller with the 360K drives installed still. Does anyone's floppys stop working after booting into windows? (It may be my Cyric 486 upgrade that is breaking it)
Awesome setup! why do you need 4 floppy drives on this? also how do you plan on installing them in that case?Another complete ParrotyError expansion board! I have no issues with the floppies however I do have an issue booting from them, if you ignore the need for booting from a floppy they run fine under 6.22 DOSYeah I don't know enough about how all the virtual device drivers (and whatnot) work but it would definitely be a feat to get Win95 running! I don't really need 4 floppy drives. The Quad-Flop allows me to use 1.44 MB floppy drives. As an added benefit, since I'm planning on building a bootleg 5161 expansion unit, I'm planning on putting a 1.44MB drive and a GoTek in that and keeping them in the expansion unit while keeping the 5150 as close to visually stock as possible.Awesome setup! why do you need 4 floppy drives on this? also how do you plan on installing them in that case?
I haven't had any issues booting from floppy or reading floppies in DOS. Granted, I'm still running the original 16MHz i386 (need to find a clock doubled 486 drop in). I think that I've seen Jonas(?) mention issues with faster CPUs and the IBM BIOS in another thread. @harrison.frazier what BIOS are you running?I have no issues with the floppies however I do have an issue booting from them, if you ignore the need for booting from a floppy they run fine under 6.22 DOS

I purchased a board from Harrison about a month ago and put it together without many issues.Realizing this thread is slightly dated has anyone actually produced a viable daughter board?
