Is there any kind of web browser for Windows 3.0, like Internet Explorer or Netscape? I have one for DOS but it's only for text mode and it sucks...

...Damn, NOW I forget what that browser was called...

There was a very famous browser during that time, I just can't remember what it was called...

I'm sure everyone else here knows the name of it...:p

Well, there were early versions of Netscape available - Mozilla and the like.

As far as I know, Internet Explorer 5.5 is the newest Microsoft browser for 16 bit systems. Haven't had a chance to test it out on my 486 yet.

There are no "windows" browsers that will work under Windows 3.0. The first beta versions of Netscape/Mosaic were from late 1993, and Windows 3.1 was introduced in April 1992, so Windows 3.0 was pretty much obsolete by the time they started working on even the beta versions of Internet browsers.

IE/Netscape/Mosaic etc. all require at a minimum Win 3.1 and a 386 CPU.

Sorry to say, with Windows 3.0 you're stuck using a DOS browser.
