I am in need of an IBM 360K floppy disk drive. The drive I am replacing is one with the flip down latching mechanism. I don’t need one with the rotating lock, however I need the one with the locking lever that drops downward to lock the disk in place... Please remember, I do not need the drive that uses the rotating lock.
I am swapping out the 2-5.25” full height single sided drives in my TRS-80 Model 4. I currently have 1 drive, but another drive I have, won’t accept the floppy disk. The drive I currently have installed works, but I need another to replace both of the floppy drives, and make a matching set. At this point, I have one drive installed, but the other drive won’t work. So in order to match the current drive, I’ll need to get a replacement that matches the drive, with the flip down locking assembly.
So does anyone have a working drive I can use in my TRS-80 Model 4? If you don’t have a single drive, but you do have a matching set of two floppy disks, can we make a deal?
