I'm new to the forum and new to vintage computers. I got the bug back in 93 when the wife's best friend gave me an Apple 2 plus and I was hooked. I was programming basic that night. The 3 year old shove something in the disk drive and no longer worked.....I can't believe I'm saying this but I threw the whole thing away. I'm sorry I didn't know. I started collecting about a year ago.

Hello and welcome! I see you like old Apple stuff. I also have a few of those machines, mostly picked up at the recycling center for free. But I am mostly into old IBM PC and Clones.

We've all thrown stuff out before we started collecting, not knowing we would want it in our later life. I once owned a NorthStar Horizen with a Televideo terminal. I sold it. I wish had it now. At least I still have the NorthStar Advantage! (But it is not an S-100 system like the Horizen)

Very nice! "Missing link" suggestion? - put the Disk II drives on top of the Apple ][ under the monitor and slide the computer to the left. Place the powerboard on the floor. Tadaaa ..you have just made space for the Apple /// in your future :)

Yeah, I do need to rearrange a few items.
I was working on an old toshiba t1200 when my apple gs came in. Put away are my Commodores and TRS 80 color computer. Nothing special about the trash 80 other then to see how it programs in sound. I was hoping the apple gs would have some way to program my own sounds not like poking or peeking. Picking up some manuals. Damn it, just burned up a 5.25. Offset cable on the controller. Anyway I'm off to work to make more money to feed my apple addiction

Hello and welcome! I'm not a fan of MOST Apple computers (I'm more into IBMs, Dells, Gateways...systems with windows or IBM variants of windows pretty much), but that's such a great lineup! The Apple II and Plus were really great computers, and even I've been wanting to add them to my own collection too! Are there any ones out of the whole lot you're really partial to? They must be really fun to tinker with!
