Many of you may already know about Karen Orton - a British electronics and software engineer who devised and presented lots of retro-technical designs including many which were either based around, or emulators of, her beloved National Semiconductor SC/MP microprocessor. Perhaps the best known of these is her 'PIC14', which was a PIC microprocessor based hardware emulator of the MK14, regarded as Sinclair's first 'computer' product even though it was sold under the 'Science Of Cambridge' brand.
Sadly, Karen became gravely ill and unfortunately passed away towards the end of 2020 but before she did she placed many of her beautifully made prototypes in the care of fellow enthusiast Tim Gilberts.
Tim has now made a Youtube video showing some of the collection being demonstrated here.
