I have a 9600 9-track tape transport from Kennedy with the following problem: When i put a tape in and pressing the load button then the display shows "loading" but notthing more goes on. Then when i press unload the tranport locks the door, turns the tape a bit back and releases the door. Can it be the problem of an incomplete adjustment process? On bitsavers there are three mainteneance manuals for such transports with different adjustment processes. How can i determine the right manual or are there later generations other than 9600, 9600A or 9600B? When i'm switching the drive on then the display shows @ less than a second.
