Hi,
on the documentation of the motherboard kt216wb5, there at the end of this document this.

motherboard
Documentation

Replaced the resistor R26 with 5 kOhm, instead of the standard 200-400 ohms. This improves
compatibility with all keyboards (according to the GOST standard for agreeing the input-output of the
DIN-5 keyboard connector). Resistor R26 is located near the coprocessor connector

What's the point ?
Is it worth making this change?
On the motherboard the resistor is 300 ohms.
I have a 5.1k ohm resistor because I don't have 5K ohms.
Do i need absolutely need 5k ohms?

Because i have problems with keyboard, boot loop with Keyboard is locked ... unlock it.
My keyboard is not locked by jumper to keylock.

Thanks.

I think if there was a problem with the value of R26 you would be getting a 'Keyboard not detected, Hit F1 to continue' message or erratic keyboard operation. 'Keyboard locked' is pretty specific. Is there anything connected to JP7, the 5 pin connector near the front of the board between the DIP ram and SIPP sockets?

on jp6 i have button reset,
on jp8 i have speaker,
on jp7, the first two pin I have a green led, it is to indicate if there is power, in the other two pins there is nothing, it is for the keylock (i have tested it).
on jp5 there is has a jumper, I don't know what it's for, removing it didn't change anything.
but on connector DIN 5 for keyboard there was oxidation, I scratched with a small screwdriver.

I restarted the motherboard today, I no longer have the problem, I did not get the message, it may be random or by removing the oxidation it may have solved the problem.

I will see in time, otherwise it is that it comes from other things
