Laser Printer Question

Looking for advice on choosing a laser printer.

I have been using an HP IIP+ for a dozen years or so but can no longer find usable toner cartridges for it. Even the most recently manufactured HP toner cartridges have rotted drum wipers, etc.

Can anyone suggest a good laser printer for which toner cartridges are still being made? It would be nice to have a parallel and/or serial interface also.

If you were local I'd give you one.

LaserJet 5 and 6 cartridges are still plentiful, last time I checked.

Otherwise, I'd highly recommend a new Brother and a RaspberryPi to give you serial access. You could probably cook up parallel access with it too, if you're ambitious.
