Wondering if anyone has a spare VL-Bus Tseng ET4000AX or W32 card lying around? Not looking for anything special, amount of installed memory matters little, it will likely never go beyond 256 colors at 640x480 for any lengths of time.
What I've to trade for it is a Diamond Stealth 24 VLB video card with 1MB RAM and S3's hardy 805 chipset. The Stealth works great and is reasonably quick under Windows 95. Since I spend more time under DOS I just need something with Tseng's formidable DOS-mode performance. (The S3 isn't bad under DOS by any means, but a VL bus Tseng is just a little better at DOS and Mode 13.) I've replaced a few tantalum caps with brand-new Chemi-con KY capacitors (rated at 5000 hrs at 105c), and also replaced a 78L05 regulator that broke. The picture is stable and clean.
Can take pics if desired - right now it is in my 486.
