  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

I'm sure there's lots of others out there wanting one of these, but I thought I'd throw my hat in.

If you are in the US, I have a relative who can receive delivery in Chicago, so the sale can be left domestic.

Any condition is acceptable, I'm looking for a project.

When I was still looking for an S-100 system (ANY SYSTEM!) That would have been more than fine. You can make he claim I have a MITS Altair and youd be correct.
same with an Imsai.

I mean I get why the OP wants one. I want one too. But Im not gonna pay. I am happy with my Cromemco and it looks beautiful. I have seen a few pretty generic S-100 systems at the swap meet and honestly they are just as good for the money.

In my view the best S-100 computer has to be the SOL-20. Because you get a VDM-1 video card effectively built into it, as well as the Tape system CUTs on its mobo (two less cards you need) and it has a wonderful keyboard, serial interface and the Solos monitor on the personality sub- board and it is easily under half the price of an Altair. The only disadvantage might be the limited number of card slots, but at least you don't need the video and the tape cards so that helps make up for that. Almost twice as much hardware at half the cost making it x4 more attractive.

There is always building one of Mike's 8800C's if you have any interest in that.
