Looking for Good ANSI editor

Greetings:

I am hoping to find a good ANSI Drawing program for one of my computers to make some screens for my BBS (which I am re-launching) and drawing the screens for a program that I plan to write on my C-64.

The program needs to be for the C64, Amiga, Apple IIe (//gs) or a modern adaption that could be used on a Modern Mac Mini (my modern computer). I suppose I could use TheDraw in DOS as a last resort, but I remember it took some work to work with it ;-)

i used to use a great one called ACIDDRAW

Aside from the details on which platform I am going to run my old BBS, yes, I plan to have Telnet access to it as well as one dial up node for nostalgia and historical sake. I may go all Telnet as there is only so much capital and the vintage computer collecting takes a great deal of the "disposible" kind ;-)

Back in the day, the board ran on a DOS machine under RemoteAccess 2.01 and we used Desqview for our window manager and later Win 95. I am thinking about relaunching on my Amiga 2k machine under CNET. In any case, I want to run the BBS from the vintage software and actually could use some guidence in making the old software "telnet-able" as opposed to (in the case of RA) running a retooled version (Elebbs).

I have noticed that WWIV seems to already have the capability, though I am not sure if it is because they had it then or it is still being supported/developed?

I was never really into the whole ANSI art scene (more of an ASCII artist
but I recall having used a program called "ANSI Paint".
