Looking for help with a Commodore Pet 2001

After a belt replacement, read/write head cleaning, download of an azimuth calibration program, trip to the hardware store to acquire a PH00 screwdriver, and the actual azimuth adjustment process - I have a working tape drive in my PET 2001.

You're getting to be a 'pro' at this now!

Now look for the online book "PET and the IEEE488 Bus (GPIB)" by Eugene Fisher - C.W.Jensen and look on page 184 and you will find a little test program to type in, save onto tape, and test your IEEE488 hardware.

Here are the results -I'm assuming that is good

Yes, I think it is good.

I found the final messages of that GPIB bus test program to be "somewhat ambiguous".

So to clarify, see attached photo, it I hacked the end of the program to make it more specific (not that I could call myself a Hacker when I can barely understand a lot of the software)

In this case, no messages are good.

Incidentally, the heart symbol is a 'special' heart symbol that should clear the screen when the PRINT statement is executed.
