Hi,

I'm looking for the manuals that originally came with this Graymark Microprocessor trainer, I would be happy to pay for scans or even photos of the pages of the manuals, I just want to be able to use this trainer and I need the manuals to do so.

Thank you very much,
Alan

Hi,
did you ever find the "manuals that originally came with this Graymark Microprocessor trainer 809"?
if not I have not only the manuals but all the books that was required for a college course that used the Graymark 809.
anyways I bought a surplus lot from local auction & ended up with many of these trainers, manuals, books & misc parts.
let me know if your still looking. I will dig out what I have.

Hey Scott,

No, I haven't found the manuals yet, I would love to get hold of them, as well as the other literature for them that you mentioned. If you are willing to let them go please email me and let me know. I would normally have you send a private message here but I don't think you can because you are a new member. mountainking.videos@gmail.com

Thank you!

Ok I will go to my storage today & dig out what I've got. It may take me a day or two. (Lots of stuff to move to get to it)
I'm not sure what I can & can't do on this site. Just found the site yesterday. The only reason I signed up was your post but I'm glad I did.
I don't know why I didn't already know about this site it's a great resource.

The forum has some rules/restrictions for new members who have only one or two posts, I guess it's to help keep out spammers or something so just comment on posts if you have something to says, even if it's just "what an amazing looking computer that is!", lol, after that you'll be able to send private messages to members and you'll be able to make your own posts as opposed to just being able to comment on other's posts.

Yeah, it's an amazing site and the forum members are wonderful, they are knowledgeable, helpful and you don't get the bad attitude that you get from so many other forums and social media groups, I think we are all too old and nerdy to be jerks, lol.

Thank you so much for replying to my post, I was wondering if I was ever going to be able to use my Graymark trainer, which I so desperately want to tinker around with. I'm a HUGE fan of microprocessor trainers, I think it's because I love hardware electronics, I spend me days soldering and designing electronic gadgets, and since I'm also fascinated by early microprocessor technology it just makes sense that I would like microprocessor trainers.

Ok still not done dig out my stuff ( half way there:)) but I did come across two graymark 809 traners with manuals that I hadn't packed with other items. Didn't feel like unpacking storage just to keep them together.
Anyway I should have access to the rest of my trainers, books, hardware, tools & training packets by tomorrow afternoon

Ok I got my trainers out of storage.
I'm not sure how long it will take before I can post pictures.
I'm going to input on other post in this forum so I can post photos of manuals.

Yes I am able to post pictures.
I'm going to post more pic a little later today as I have to go to work but as soon as I get home I'll post more pictures

Yes I'm willing to sell some of my trainers. Are you only interested in the graymark 809 trainers?
I also dynalogic trainers.
I will post pictures of them tomorrow when I get home

Well, I have the Graymark trainer, I just don't have the manuals for it.

Ok I'm going to go copymax to see how much it will cost to make a copy of both manuals that come with Graymark trainer. I don't think it should be that expensive but it has been many years since I've had manuals copied

If it cost to much I will try scanning them to a pdf file
Well, as long it doesn't cost something ridiculous I will be happy to pay for it, it will be worth it to me to be able to actually use the trainer. It would be great of they could just scan the manuals, actually, and give you the file, that way I could just print the manual out myself on my printer, plus if there is a pdf of the manuals you or I could post the files on archive.org or wherever so the next person like me can just Google it and find it.

Ok it look like I'm going to try to scan to pdf file. I stopped by two printing shops the cheapest was $52.00 for just the first Manuel.
(130 double sided pages )
So this weekend I stop by my friends office and if I can get them scanned to a pdf file.
That will only cost a 12pack :)

Wow, yeah, that's pricey! Well, like I said, I'm happy to pay to get scans of them so if you can make it happen you let me know what I can give to compensate for going through all of this to get me these manuals, your effort has been very much appreciated. If all else fails, you could always ship the manuals to me so I can scan (or photograph) them and then I'll send them back to you when I'm done. Btw, what were you thinking of the selling the Graymark trainer for? One sold on ebay recently for $100 but I missed it somehow. I probably would have bought it to get the manuals and then sold the extra trainer with a scan of the manuals. Anyway....lol
