I know this is going to sound daft, but you have tried eBay haven't you?

There is a guy in Birmingham selling a load of PDP-8 paperwork and cards. I am not sure if an 8/I is amongst them though.

Note also that the Internet Archive has ingested the bitsavers collections, but they also use OCR to provide searchable text inside the PDF instead of just photos of the pages. This is incredibly important for finding things you need, even if the OCR is slightly messy and error-prone.
