I know we're not supposed to necro-post but I decided to anyway because you never got a reply. I'm not sure if this is something that you'd be interested in or if you're even still looking for a tape drive but I have this:

Yusta be you'd see QIC-02 and QIC-36 tapes labeled as "SCSI" on Heebay a lot. I tried sending the sellers a message to correct their listings, but, nah, what do I know? The QIC controllers were also labeled as "SCSI".

If you want to get rid of that drive, drop me a PM, I think I have an old QIC-36 adapter for one and might want to add the drive to my rogue's gallery.

I only bought this tape drive because it came mounted in an external enclosure that I wanted for other purposes. Still, I haven't completely made up my mind what I want to do with it yet. If I decide to get rid of it I'll definitely drop you a PM. What I'm curious about at the moment is if it will work with the Archive EAX6GP-SC400S controller that I bought a while ago with the intention of putting a SCSI hard drive in my IBM 5150. Unfortunately, I was never able to get the drive to spin up so I was also never able to determine if the controller worked or not. Based on this thread, I'm guessing it wouldn't have because it's a tape controller. At the time I bought it, I didn't know there was a difference between SCSI and QIC. The closest I've ever been able to find for a manual is for an SC-499.

I've got an Archive 11250Q in 5.25 adapter, believe it connects to floppy. May have the cable. Never tested, no tapes if you'd be interested. I'm looking for a 360k 5.25 drive for a Tandy 1000 TL/2.

The 11250 is a QIC-80 tape that takes DC-2xxx minicarts. The OP was looking for the full-size DC-6xx QIC drives (i.e., there's no 3.5" form factor for those).
