I just picked up a Spectravideo 328, but it didn't come with the power supply or any other cables. I've tried Googling and have found pinouts for all the other connectors, but not power.

Unless I get lucky and find a power supply, I'll probably try to build one or adapt something.

If anyone in the US happens to have a spare Spectravideo power supply I'd be interested in buying.

Thanks for any help.

I believe it takes 8-9VAC + 16VAC. On page 9 in this document, you have schematics of the internal DC power supply but I can't say which pair of AC inputs is to the left or right on the connector.

The connector is the same as on the Texas TI-99/4(A) series and Colecovision, but the pinouts are completely different on all three. However SVI-318 and 328 should share the same power supply pinout, can't remember if it is true for the later SVI-728 as well.

Thanks, I think I can figure it out if I open the cover and look at the connector.

It's kind of funny that even the schematic shows all the pinouts except for the power connector :)

Probably because you are meant to be able to connect any kind of peripherals to all connectors except the power supply where you only plug in the one that came with the computer. The same is true for many other brands, e.g. look into a C64 manual to find the pinout for its power connector. At least I have never found one in my books, you have to dig deeper and into other places to learn about that pinout.
