Looking for Toshiba Tecra 8000 restore disc (Toshiba Configuration Builder CD)

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone here could provide me with an image of the Toshiba Tecra 8000 restore disc. I believe it was called the Toshiba Configuration Builder CD.

I recently acquired a Tecra 8000 in pristine condition, with the (very heavy) docking station and I would like to restore the original software on it. It still contains the original 6.4 GB IBM Travelstar hard disk.

I have the same laptop, but no recovery CD sorry. I do have a folder with drivers.
Closest thing I could find was the Tecra 8100 from archive. org.

Does your laptop still have the factory recovery partition?

Its not the "recovery cd", but there are a lot of drivers and utilities in the different pages here:

http://web1.toshiba.ca/support/isg/drivers/archives/

Just dig around a bit ;-)

I don't think it ever came with one. The drive's only 6 GB. Those smaller hard drive didn't have recovery partitions yet afaik/

I made my own "Restore CD".
Especially the DOS audio driver is a good choice I believe, as Sound Blaster works in DOS.

Probably too late, but an image of the HDD with the original stock Windows could be cool to have anyways.
