I might snag that C128 power supply, mine died (for the last time-- it's been repaired several times after opening it up). Also that RS-232 interface looks extremely appealing! Is there a program I can use to access it? Is it so obvious that I shouldn't even ask

Yes... There are docs out there somewhere that explain how to do this... And someone posted photos here last year of when he did it in his 1764 REU. Two things:

A. Please post stuff like this in the auction area, I missed this thread due to that, and would have bid on some of your stuff..
B. ROM socket in my 1764? What is a Servant ROM and what is KeyDOS? Where can I read about this madness? Is this because others are using C128s, and I only have a C64 and C64C?

Raven, I generally don't post in the Auction area because everything I'm selling is Commodore-related, so I figure that everyone that's interested in it will see it here. Anyway, I'm continually selling stuff, so all you have to do to see what I have available at any given time is search for my eBay user name, which is the same as my user name here (wiskow).

As for the Function ROM socket, Servant ROM, KeyDOS, etc., all of this is meaningless if you're using a C64 or 64c because these will only function on a C128. The 64s won't see any of it. In a nutshell, these function ROMs are programs that run on boot that add extra functionality to the C128.
