Guys,
I've got 4 of these PRIAM drives all of which need to be restructured to a different CHS layout. My interfacing controller is a Intel SBC215b/g which has format capability but will not proceed due to a seek track/verify before format.
I am looking for a hardware/software formatter that will interface to the PRIAM do a low level format. The drives has the capability in the commands but the track structure layout data is fed in via the controller in NRZ.
Has anyone gone down this path and built/designed a capability to LLF these old drives?
