Mac SE 30 conversion project color LCD

Anyone here ever do a color LCD ( from iPad gen 2 ) into a Mac se40 case ??? I’ve seen these project mods before. Since I acquired an SE 30 case last summer I’m looking to do the color LCD with a Mac mini powering it.

Looking for comments and suggestions.

yea, actually I did it to a performa 200 something back like 15 years ago using a generic 4:3 LCD (cause it was an empty shell)

CRT's are curved, LCD's are flat. I ended up mounting the front casing on a Bridgeport milling machine with the front of the case compressed into "flower foam" (ya know the green foam that compresses buts pretty hard) and ran it though the machine to flatten out the curve in order to mount a flat panel

Looked like a modern PC with a 9-10 ish screen at a whopping 720p and the footprint of half a kindergarten classes worth of lunchboxes, the piss yellow really sold the meh though, nevermind it ran like 8 year old delll office machine
