Hello, Federation.
I have a Macintosh Plus in need of repair. When the computer is turned on, the system will restart indefinitely, making chirping noise each time. And occasionally, the computer will screech and draw random lines on the screen.
I have reflowed all the solder joints, recapped the whole system, replaced RIFA capacitors, and I struggle to find any broken traces.
The logic board is functional, so is the floppy drive. The voltages are very inconsistent, but never hit zero or go over what they should be.
I have also noticed that when I unplug the deflection coils, the screeching goes away but will still bootloop and chirp.
Please help. I will replace every part on the power board if I have to.
