Making sure

I just want to make sure that the display tubes are interchangeable on the Mac Plus, SE, SE/30 etc. I replaced one on a SE/30 with one from a Plus and it's working but I would hate to have it catch fire or some such issue later on. I have a few more to change (The SE's have screen burn).

A document I have here called "Classic Mac tech docs v2.0" says at the end of section 4.3 ..

"..although all 9" macs are electrically and mechanically compatible, thier deflection yokes may not be. Unless you know the yokes are compatible the safest course is to replace only the CRT, and leave each yoke with the Mac it came from. ..."

It might pay to download the doc. It has a lot of info on baby mac screens.

OK, another question. One of my SE has the 68030 accelerator - Mobius I think is the name. It has a 9 pin connector attached to the back. What kind of monitor is it looking for?
