Granted I probably like most things which were common practices that you could rely on.... Like canned ham. Bring back canned ham!

Ditto - but I am the only one in our house that likes Christmas cake (fruit cake + marzipan + icing).

Yeah fruitcakes are great - small slice with coffee...also suitable for self-defense.

Did anyone else enter this xmas programming contest? I think I spent more time figuring out the submission form than writing the code - which may be inversely correlated with the probability of winning.

Never liked the texture of it for some reason. I always go for a chocolate Yule Log alongside the usual Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut bars as well as Turtles.

Are cordial cheeries a christmas thing? I thought they were a valentines day candy.

Never liked the texture of it for some reason. I always go for a chocolate Yule Log alongside the usual Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut bars as well as Turtles.

I realize its not for everyone as its super dense (which equates to artery clogging buttery goodness) and the candied fruit is from a very far gone bygone era. I have never been a texture person ... as I like rice pudding and cottage cheese.

But i hear you on the chocolate. Chocolate is really the only candy I like.
