Hello,

for a view minutes I have auctioned a Microsoft InPort Mouse with adapter.
Has anyone more information about this piece of hardware?

- Do I need drivers for this Mouse?
- Has anyone drivers for me?

Greetings from Germany

I have a DOS driver for mine and it seems to work well. Unfortuantely it's on a 360K 5 1/4" floppy and I currently have no way to transfer it to the net.

You don't need more than a compatible version of "MOUSE.COM". It is included in recent versions of MS DOS (at least version 5+).

There are other mouse drivers out there, but I don't know anything about them.

In my opinion this was the best early mouse. I have a bunch
of these which still work great. I've even repaired a few,
the wires get broken internally where the cable passes into the
mouse body. The bad cable section can be cut out and resoldered.
You know it must be a good mouse if someone would go to the
trouble to make a repair like this :)

For true. I've done it about five times now to my 'Australian Mouse' (aka trackball). It's still my favorite pointing device.
