Motorola SC44074PK - what is it ?

Have Googled and not found a datasheet for this 40 pin DIP chip - anyone know what it is and have a datasheet please ?

It was sat in the breadboard area of a Heathkit 3400 I recently acquired but unconnected.

Did you find it? According to a seller on ebay and this: https://puck.nether.net/pipermail/heath/2005-December/020464.html it's a rebadged MC6821 Peripheral Interface Adapter.

No but thanks for the link - it would appear that either I have inherited the same heathkit with the chip or it was a common device for other hobbyists to deploy.
