My Zenith Z-Star EX

Sound card It has is on the Parallel port from Serda shop, not the best option as not all games or Windows 3.x, but since the system has no built in option other then PC speaker, its a good option, good sound. It has a 512Mb SD card running in it, sorta. I tried a larger 8Gb, putting 512, 1024, 2048 ect FAT partitions. For some reason, the Z-Star didn't like that either and wanted a 124Mb partition instead. Maybe try a 1 or 2Gb card and see if that works. The original drive is shot, and while it will run on the SD card, it won't boot, unless the boot-disk is in the drive. No idea why it won't boot, but i noticed that chdsk nor scandisk work on the SD card as far as scanning goes. If I can get it working as usual, I intend to put DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 back on. I do have a driver to try for Windows, sadly the drive died before I could try it. Want to also get more RAM for it. I got the J-mouse working, also noticed that USB optical mice worked on it using the PS/2 port. I did a batt replacement on the pack under the left side of the keyboard, only 4.8V, so not totally sure what it's for. If anyone has the J-mouse drivers for DOS and Windows 3.1 I'd appreciate it.
