Why not d/l it from Compaq's site, so you can be reasonably sure it's a good copy?

Thanks Terry. I have tried the HP site. Hp removed all support for SLT 286. They will only take it for recycle - too bad.

you can create the disks from a file named SP0308.ZIP

Google with "SP0308.ZIP" shows it available at a few locations.
