Hello everyone,

After starting work on it by starting the initial research almost a year ago, my project is now in prototype phase, the PCBs have been ordered.
Next step is to build and test the first revision mainboard.
So currently the project is untested and only a first concept.

I have been working for a while on my project, you can find the thread here on this forum.
The project is based on the IBM 5170 concept by IBM which set the industry AT PC standard.

I decided to publish the project on GitHub so interested readers can take a look at the project in a preview form.
If all goes well it may turn into a concept design if there are no issues arising during my assembly and testing work.
I am hopeful and did a lot of verification on all my work!

Anyone interested can check out the GitHub information and read all about the project in the thread in the link.

Kind regards,

Rodney.

Thanks acgs,

JLCPCB is really taking their time this time with the production run of my prototype. Maybe 4 layer is more troublesome for them and they are not so interested in such work, I don't know what's going on. I even had to chat to someone in China to get them to pick up the manufacturing after paying an additional "drilling fee" days ago with no news after paying. I am requesting a quote from another factory for my next project based on the same gerbers as this project as a reference for the quote, to see their pricing range.

Kind regards,

Rodney
