Hello,
I'm 100% new to the Model 100 (I'm a Coco user by heart though)
I've just acquired a Model 100 (I don't even know how much memory is in it). I don't even know if it is in working condition, once I get a power source running.
It is missing the battery cover, and power adapter (if they even use one. It's still the back of my car, I haven't taken it home yet).
It came with a floppy drive but no interface cable nor power adapter.
1. Where can I get a replacement battery cover ? Has anyone 3-D printed these yet?
2. There is a little corrosion on the spring terminals, what's the best way to clean this?
3. Where can I get the interface cable and power supply to the floppy drive?
Is there a concise guide to bring one of these to a working state?
This M100 came with a lot of SW in the original Tandy packaging, I suspect any media is no longer viable though.
I believe there is a service manual in the boxes too. (I have a lot to look through when I finally get home)
Thanks
