Hi, old ICL psu not powering on. Found a blown ceramic tubefuse inside. In hopes of getting the psu back to life, do I have to find exactly same type of fuse with exact same markings. Markings on a old blown fuse are T 3.15AH 250V. I have new class tubefuses laying around, they have markings F 2.5A L 250V. Am I right that those wont work with the psu and they might just blow up right away?

Tips about fusemarkings are welcome.

Thanks!

T = Timed delay, ( Slow Blow / Anti Surge ) fuse

F = Fast Blow, ( Quick Blow ) fuse, L = Low ( Breaking Capacity )

Yes, Usually.

Fuses can and do die of old age, But the PSU may have a more serious fault that caused the original fuse to blow, Be very careful when messing with PSU's, Electricery can KILL

Thank you for the reply. Still havent found right fuse locally. I noticed that in the psu pcb there is a marking "T 2.5A H 250V"next to the fuse slot. I would expect that I should find that kind of fuse?

Also, I noticed that the sck 103 thermistor next to the wires that connect to the voltage switch, is damaged. Can this mean that the voltage was switched (to the wrong voltage) at some point, and this caused all this damage to the psu?
