Online PDP-8 programming courses?

Any one know of any online PDP8 programming courses? I have read online that a lot of high school/collage/university's up until fairly recently had PDP-8 programming courses, as the PDP-8 is a basic computer with many emulators, I have some DEC books from the 1960 70's that cover the pdp8 but I am finding it hard going as the only programming I have done is BASIC when a young teen, and the DEC books have became yellowed and brittle with age and cheap acid paper.
