My 96 year-old neighbor passed away (quite a few) years ago, and while helping his daughter clear out the house to prepare it for sale I came across this piece of history buried under cardboard boxes in a corner of the finished basement and I saved it from the dumpster. Everything worked the last time I plugged it in.

I'd like to find a good home for it, preferably someone in the Portland, OR area since I have no idea how much it would cost to ship.PXL_20230303_224701824.jpg

I might able to get down there - any idea if that’s a color monitor, or the model of the monitor?

If you can't even tell from the picture, you should probably let someone catch it who knows what is actually offered.

While I always like when people give away stuff for free, I have a bad feeling that this one ends in the hands of a scalper. With the model M keyboard on top and fully working, this is worth a couple of hundred dollars.

I'm curious what keyboard that is under it, almost looks like a grid laptop keyboard.
It's actually an AplhaSmart Pro (ALF-C01) portable word processor. Apparently it belonged to the local elementary school 30 years ago.

And as I said earlier, the XT is already gone to a good home.

Always love that European superiority complex. Just because I haven't memorized the physical appearance of every model of IBM monitor ever produced, doesn't mean I'm a scalper. I simply want a nice color CGA monitor to go with a Tandy I'm trying to resurrect. No big deal though, I was able to procure a Tandy monitor through other channels.
