OS/2 on pentium class machines.

I couldn't agree more.

Just been going through a cdr I made around a decade ago with a lot of useful OS/2 stuff on it and copying the good files to a hdd before the cd goes completely bad. Got most of it off ok. Bit of a wonder down memory lane.

Of course most of it is available at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/

I'm trying to remember the name of the group, all I recall is they were a .org and I thought they just went as "os2-ecs" although they may have changed to os2voice or something else over the years. Either way they did have a pretty nice support group and also an IRC channel if you ever get bored they seemed to have some pretty competent members hang out there willing to help those in need.

Warp 3 actually runs very well on a Pentium system. I use a 233MMX with 64Meg RAM and it flat out flies. I use a Matrox millenium PCI video card and a SB16 with it. Matrox was one of the few who kept updating there OS/2 drivers all the way up to the G450 board. Also Warp 4 does well too.
