Overcoming 486 504mb limit - OnTrack vs XUB?

Or something else? For all the software I want to put on, I need something to get past the 504mb limit, if only to create more 500mb partitions on a 2.5GiB drive. I used to have ezdrive back in the actual day, but these days that would be very inconvenient because ezdrive is pretty much unreadable when stuck into a modern PC. Does OnTrack have similar issues? I have a faulty XTIDE board which works fine for loading the XUB, and I think would be ideal for this situation, but I don't know the address of the onboard ide channel in my Dell 486 (apparently it is not 1F0h). Any info appreciated!

OnTrack is a DDO just like EZ-Drive. I would use XUB to minimize headaches.
