OVGE 2011 coming next month!

So, just letting everybody know that OVGE is coming up very soon! It's being held a little earlier in the year this year, and is going to be a great show! The One-Ups are going to be there in full force, and it looks like I'll have a table again this year, too. Of course, I'll host some sort of tournament, but I'm not 100 percent sure as to what kind yet. Just hit www.ovge.com for all the latest news!

Hey, all! Just letting you guys know that I will definately have a table this year, and will be hosting the first ever OVGE Bad Game Beatdown tournament! It's going to be the absolute WORST games ever, and you'll have to endure...I mean play them to win the prizes! Make sure to check the site, too, as Jesse has updated with some VERY cool stuff. Rob O'Hara will return with a partner this year and will have an incredibly cool display of text adventures called Get Text. Also, this is going to be the biggest arcade set up yet, with a slew of arcade games, and possibly some pinball machines, too! Hope to see you all there!

Well, another OVGE has come and gone. Best show yet, and that's saying something! The arcade was HUGE this year, with pinball games, and more arcade cabs than you could ever want. Once again, the One-Ups blew everyone away with their funky, jazz-inspired renditions of game themes. My table was a smashing success, as everybody loved coming by and sharing their memories of playing crappy games. The game I used for the tournament was...are you ready?...Shaq-Fu. Yes, Shaq-Fu. I'm probably the only person in history to run a Shaq-Fu tournament! So, everyone had to WORK for their prize this time! The GET TEXT table was similarly amazing, and Josh Dunbar's incredible art was awe-inspiring (the Zelda montage was truly out of this world). Already looking forward to next year!
