Im looking for a source of blank paper tape. Does anyone know any place which sells reels or fan fold or other sources for blank paper tape?

Paper tape supplier?

I usually end up scouting around on E-Bay for mine. There is a supplier in the UK but its expensive. You might want to ask on the GreenKeys TTY mail list http://www.rtty.com/greenkeys.htm most folks on there use 5-hole but some might have stocks of 8-hole
The 5 unit, 11/16" Telex width tape is easy to get, it is the 1" that is the problem.
Provided you don't want a whole 2000' reel then the easiest way is to cut down thermal fax rolls. Can buy cutting discs, about 2" diameter with a razor sharp edge, set up with the correct spacer and a straight edge. If you have access to a lathe then a scalpel in the tool post holder and the fax roll in the chuck and slowly and gently feed the scalpel in.
Why thermal fax paper? Cheap, good quality, easily available but any paper roll will do.

I would try a paper roll slitter, they are designed to slice a large roll into smaller ones for craft purposes. There are plenty of them on eBay eg. https://www.ebay.com/itm/CE-Hot-Sta...tting-Machine-Paper-Roll-Slitter/382624991985

The roll slitter looks expensive. GNT http://www.gnt.co.uk/papertape.htm will supply a box of 1" for around that price. If any one in the UK needs a reel I can probably find one or either size. When I bought my GNT punch from CNC place that was closing they threw in the paper tape they had in stock. (That was 1"). I have picked up several packs of 11/16" along the way.
