PC-MOS/386 v5 Open-sourced.

Hi there, not sure if I should hijack this thread or start another? I've just started tweaking dosemu2 to be able to boot PC-MOS on its virtual disk. Does anyone know if there are manuals for PC-MOS around, it's one DOS flavour that passed me by and it's a little different. I'm particularly interested in what startup files are used for and filesystem differences.

Thanks

In the late 80's I worked with a bunch of biomedical repair techs, who did the equipment repair in a hospital. We used a machine running PC-MOS for a large database...though I don't recall particulars besides that. At the time, our trouble calls were logged in a CP/M machine of some sort.

I have a board somewhere that has a cable on it that would go into the PLCC on a 286 board then, IIRC, sit in a slot and let you run PC-MOS on the 286. I don't recall what was on the card itself, but, I just saw it the other day don at the shop.

I would really like to see a fork of PC-MOS/386 with DPMI support now that the source is available, though I barely see any logical reason now that there's FreeDOS to provide all of that jargon.
