Howdy! I have for sale a complete PDP-11/45 system. I purchased this back in 2018 and had grand plans for it before life got in the way. It's been stored in my climate-controlled garage since.

The CPU frame has the following cards in it:
M7295
Two H215
Two M792
M7856
M8109
M9312

There's a secondary frame with the following cards:
M4540
M7279
Two M7280
M796
And one card with a handwritten label that says "DM11-AA"

There's a Charles River Data Systems/CRDS FD311 dual 8" floppy drives installed in rack 2 and an RP11 in rack 3 (although it didn't look like it was connected to anything).

The system has the following extra equipment with it:
VT100 Terminal
RX02 dual 8" floppy drives
Magnetic Peripherals/MPI 9448 Cartridge Module Drive
DECwriter
DECwriter III
LP25 line printer with operator's guide
PDP-11/45 System Engineering Drawings
M9312 Bootstrap/Terminator Module Technical Manual
KT11-C Memory Management Unit Maintenance Manual
A tape hand-labeled "PDP11 Diagnostics" with a date of 6/22/83

I haven't attempted to power any of it on. Even though it was all still hooked up when I acquired it I was told it had been at least 10 years since it was last used. The power cables and ribbon cables are dirty and the TU10 has some corrosion going on on the back plate inside the door (behind the reels). Several of the plastic pegs that hold the blank panels in place have broken off.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Additional photos might take a few days as I'll have to wiggle some stuff around in the garage to get to everything again. I am located in Oklahoma City. I am asking $7500 for everything and don't want to split it up at the moment. Due to the size and weight of this system I am unable to offer shipping.

Do you still have this for sale? I know this is breaking the rules but since I am a 'moderated user' I cannot DM you, so please email me at ronstrojnyiii@gmail.com if you still have this for sale. Thanks! (Sorry mods)

Wow! Nice Setup! I love the original DECWriter!
It really is quite a gorgeous machine. I hate to part with it but I know there are folks out there that can provide far more care for it than I'm able to now.

I see the mods got you fixed up now. I've replied to you in the PM. Thanks!

If you end-up with any pieces left-over, let me know... unfortunately I can't take the whole system as I literally just picked up an 11/45 myself, but I'm always looking for peripherals. :)

we could do a double switch - I take your 11/45, you take the whole system
that system is gorgeous, but so HUGE

happy hacking
Michael

If you still have this system, can you please take photos and measurements of the large black metal sheet below the tape drive? I'd like to have a replica manufactured to replace a bunch of pop panels below mine. I'd want to see the back side too to understand how it is made.
