52 MFLOPs. Not bad.
The high end ones were 10GFlop:According to your wikipedia article it was 52. That may have been the liquid-cooled version though.
Interesting thing was these were bulk CMOS implementations. Vector machines. The air-cooled "Piper" model was the 50+ MFlop version. The Model E could support up to eight processors, for a peak performance of 8.32 GFLOPS. The later Model G, whose processors had a 7 ns clock cycle (approximately 142 MHz), had a peak performance of 10.3 GFLOPS in its maximal eight-processor configuration.
@VERAULT , we had a very nice meal at Benjamins this year. Both my wife and I had the prime rib. My wife had raw clams and clam chowder and I had a salad and brocolli with some Cabernet Sauvignon.I've walked by Benjamins a million times. Never stopped in. I'll stop in this year, on your recommendation.

Glad to hear it. They are known for the raw bar.. and the prime rib is phenomenal. And the last time I had it the portion was huge. Hope your vacation was nice. ,,VERAULT said:
Newport? Stop by Benjamins for me.. Have some oysters, gande marnier, or a nice rib eye steak if any of those appeals to you. My favorite stop in Newport.
