Plasma display in Compaq Portable III

Does anyone know:

- is the plasma display in a Compaq Portable III CGA/VGA/other?

- where one can get docs on the pinouts for this plasma display (20 pins on the data cable it seems)?

- if it can be made to receive VGA successfully? Even just a CLI would be great.

I think it's display capability is CGA/MGA, as that goes back quite a few years.
