Potential 11/23 systems to give away.

I was visiting a site yesterday to obtain some equipment for work. I came across some 11/23's in a cubicle (about three of them if I remember correctly) which were destined for the skip if no one wants them. I took an inventory of the systems (but the idiot that I am I left the paperwork at work and will not be back in for a week). Don't worry - they won't be going anywhere for a while (I have already said that I may have some people interested in them...)

When I am back - I will post a card inventory.

I understand from the guy that they originally had RL01 drives (but they have gone). I think the controller is still in the chassis though. There are two QBUS chassis with each system; each with 8 x 4 slots if I remember correctly.

In the meantime - is anyone interested in the UK?

If so, I will arrange for pick up from the site (along with some more equipment that we need for work) and you can pick up free gratis from me.

Thanks for the PMs - I've now got enough interest to go ahead.

I will PM those that are at the top of the list with the module inventory that I took from one of the systems when I get back in a weeks time.

If anyone is still interested you can PM me and I will put you on a 'standby' list in case anyone doesn't want what is on offer.

For those that asked - I live in Worcester and work in Gloucester. However I do commute up the M6 regularly as far as Lancaster. So I could arrange handover of equipment at any of those places - or in between providing it doesn't take me too far out of my route.

I would like a pdp 11/23 if there is a spare, to be used as an interface between the pdp8 I am building and the RL02 drive I have, so I would only need a basic system, and I live in the uk about 130 miles from Worcester, and will be in Worcester this summer!
