Hookay...so my soon to be better half wanted a B-Day party this year, and just like most better halfs wanting a b-day party - she wants the house cleaned, and included in this is the almighty hangout where my old machines roam the network - the Man Cave

While in there, I found a long forgotten box full of old computer bits - I'm BUSTING at the seams with screws, caps, LED's, fuses, and even...oddly, old Chips. I have a PLCC 286 chip, at least one or two 8088 Processors, and I even found an old WD Paradise PEGA1A Chip. Not sure what to do with said stuff (except the stand-offs and screws), but pretty cool that I have a spare 5MHz 8088 CPU...ah, and now I remember there's also an 8086 5 MHz chip in there as well....maybe I really should consider getting into homebrew PC's now, or at least start training myself in electronics for such.

Another thing, just what do you do when you have a 486 Motherboard with a bad keyboard jack/circuit, a pile of 72 pin 4MB SIMMS, a DX2 CPU with some bent pins, and some push pins - wall art. Now I have an IBM Portable PC mainboard on one wall, and a 486 mobo with DX2 hanging above my desk complete with RAM populated.

What else is going on? Well, Ive been putzing around with a certain consumer preview of a certain O/S, and let's just say, it plays rather nicely with my old stuff, which is perfect as I have an aging Tablet that I like to mess around with that takes advantage of the features nicely.

Still working on revamping the Creepingnet website, I expect to have it back up eventually, once I finish creating content. I'm going back to the old way It was done - in Windows 3.1x, written in HTML, the only "modern" thing about it is the table (which is not that modern to be honest)...no Web 2.0 crap here! Just 100% pure content. Between caring for a sick loved one, party hosting, working my ass off, writing new music, saving for a new synth, and so on, I'm busy.

My youtube channel will likely have some new content as well being as I scored a $95.00 1.3MP webcam at Goodwill new in box for $15.00. Might have to show off some more crazy stuff once I get a VGA to composite scan-converter in my hands in the future too.
