After helping many members from this site,
I decided to join to offer my services directly.

As per my introduction : http://www.vcfed.org/forum/showthread.php?72352

I'm a 80's collector of all kinds ( Computers, Arcade games, music, etc..),
and have over 15 years developed a certain knowledge of programming obscure proms and eproms,
and have amassed a healthy stock of rare and hard to find chips.

I started offering my services to the arcade collecting community in 2004 under the name www.hobbyroms.com .

After a few years, I was receiving requests for far more items than Arcade games,
so I created a secondary site to cater to a different collector clientele.

As so was born www.EpromPRO.com

I own and operate both sites, so either will ultimately reach me.

NOTE : Both sites are over 10 years old, and have never been updated, so are horribly out of date.
If you are looking for anything specific, it's probably best to e-mail me directly .

I have 1000's of chips in stock, and have most of the proms and eproms found in all vintage computers.

I even have some of the more rare 24-pin MOSTEK compatible chips (MC68766)
which are drop-in replacements for older IBM's , Commodore and Apple computers, with no adapter needed.

I'm a single person operation, on-line mostly outside of working hours.
(... yes, I have a "real" day job... ; chip burning is more a hobby than a business... ).

I'm located in Canada, but will ship internationally.

Let me know how I can help.
Thanks,
Stephan

Interesting, I have 35 year old EPROMS in rare equipment that are still OK but I removed them and backed them up “for insurance”.

That's a very wise move...

I've had people send me very rare, one-of-kind type of chips , specifically to archive the data on them
in case they need replacements.

Among the notable stuff I've worked with was a Synclavier I

and a Moog Ethervox Theramin

I have a rather eclectic collection of binary files... ;-)
