  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Looks to be an entire retro computing hobby in one swoop. Anyone close is nuts to NOT jump on this!

That's what I get for not paying attention for a couple weeks. lol That's on my way back to my parent's house in south alabama. Not that I need it... but I neeed it! haha

I didn't really "need" it.. But I can't complain.

One of the "PCs" that I picked up happened to be a 5162 XT/286 with original Hard Drive and Controller... Here's the weird part.... It formatted and worked!
ST225 along with the weird IBM controller that didn't have a low level format routine, No bad sectors after a full scan with Spinrite..

It has a EGA card, with the memory expansion card... Now I just need a little more than 640k ram, and to finish fixing my original IBM EGA monitor to match the set.

Whoops, got the XT-286 controller, and the PC-XT controller mixed up.

XT-286 has a standard AT style controller, there was also an XT with a IBM supplied Hard drive controller.
