Some months ago I've found a "forgotten" Z8 BASIC (Z8671 aka Z0867108) MCU, so I decided to give it a new "home" (a board...).
So I designed the RC-Z8BASIC with these spec:
128KB SRAM with battery backup, RS-232 port, serial-USB adapter port, GPIO port, LCD (1602 or 2004) port, User led and key, on-board power supply, ROM emulation mode to enable the "Auto execution on power-up" feature, can be powered from USB or on-board power supply.
I've already tested the basic functions, and currently I'm writing a "driver" for the LCD.
If you have this MCU "around" and are interested to build this board, you can follows the development here (when fully tested I'll publish all the details to build it).
Regards.
