RTL 900 logic, Intel 4040, Exorciser, core store etc

I have been disintegrating my large pile of electronics collected over the years, need the space.

Been surprised to find a pile of RTL chips, 914, 923 so far out of a Tek 141 PAL signal generator.

A core store out of a HP 3779 comms tester, not sure what size but small, 256 bytes? Comes with the driver board so could be got working.

Several extender boards for tes equipment, mostly out of HP stuff.

Also a HP 3771 comms tester with a PCB containing a 4040, 4289, 4265 etc. No idea what it does, no manual and rest of item in little pieces, only noticed when I was scanning the boards is anything useful.

Also a Heidenhain digital readout also with a 4040 in it. This did work, had a fault but can't remember what.

A DRI 8" s/s floppy drive. I bought this new in 1979 but was quickly given a pair of drives in a case so had almost no use. Also a pile of mainly DEC 8" discs for the Word Terminal etc, also a cats eye disc.

Pile of data and MDOS books etc for the 6800 and MDOS discs. The problem here is that my Exorciser was my home computer for several years and will have personal files on some discs, so reluctant to let them go without deleting.

Is this stuff of any value to anyone? Will have to charge coz virus has resulted in little income dropping to zero. Given me lots of time to sort through though.

Even today, I can tell without looking that the 923 was a J-K flip flop (probably Fairchild Micrologic). TO-99. Some things you never forget--they were among the first ICs I ever used. Expensive, too.

If you're worried, use a bulk eraser on the data disks. Program or OS disks, likely would be of value mostly for the software on them, rather than the disks themselves. But if you're worried about security of personal data, that should probably come first.
