Left a fresh, clean breadbin 64 running through a datasette tape. Typed the magic words, and took a break from the monitor. I then came back only to see that the text on screen had immediately garbled, the datasette could not be stopped and starting the machine again resulted in an orange... screen.

So, the PLA replacement is my only option now, I suppose? If so, which one?
