Sanyo DATA RECORDER DR201 - For which computer is it?

Hi,
I have a working Sanyo DATA RECORDER DR201.
I can confirm that because I have played music cassettes with it and recorded on top of a cassette.
All keys working.
But I don´t know for which computer model the cable is for.

Any idea?

Seems a common standard used by some Japanese computers like the MSX machines.

This does remind me of the TRS-80 computer connector.

TRS-80 and IBM PC used a 5 pin DIN connector; BBC Micro had a 7 pin connector (which could use 5 pin cables); MSX often used the 8 pin shown.

That is a very nice cassette deck for computer use with buttons to help solve the most common problems with loading programs.
